Red Bull Air Race / Pop-Up Book

The Red Bull Air Race is a live global championship series full of action, adrenaline, high drama and a new generation of sporting heroes never seen before. Jethro Ames was approached by Red Bull to create a engaging press kit that will entice the press corps to bring excitement to the upcoming event. From concept to completion, Ames designed the book from its cover to its pages, collaborated with an artist photographer to bring an higher end of creativity to each pop-up, and worked with an pop-up book specialist to help put it all together.  Not only it was a hit with the clientele and press crew, it gained a lot of honor and prestige in the local advertising community by winning San Diego Ad Club’s Gold Addy. The highest honor you can receive in its category. It followed by placing Silver in the Region, until finally becoming a finalist in the Nationals. Competing with all the largest Advertising Agencies in the nation.
